We discovered the finial at the top of the fountain in the pond and assume that it must have fallen off during the winter.
Our regular builder came with a hired ‘cherry picker’ and on a very cold day, we watched Mark fix the top back on with resin. This is an original part which is badly corroded and it is hoped that it will last for some while. Whilst the machine was there he used a pressure washer to clean down the top sections.
The fountain now sprays properly.
