On a very cold evening in April a television crew came into the Garden on behalf of an independent company. They are preparing an edition of “Escape to the Country” and about 30 seconds of this will feature the Plantation Garden as an introduction to Norfolk.
We do not know when this will be on our screens, but hope that some warning will be given.
Although it was getting dark they assured us that the digital camera can compensate for this and it will seem like a normal day. Having told them how very quiet the site is, we had to wait for at least 5 ambulance sirens to pass out of sound; perhaps as it was rush hour.
